About the Author

M. M. Elmendorf is a full-time author, editor, and creative consultant who believes that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways people learn, connect, and grow.

Her academic background spans English, History, Behavioral Science, Creative Writing, and Strategic Leadership, allowing her to approach both fiction and nonfiction with a multidisciplinary lens.

Her professional experience includes work as:

  • researcher and copyeditor for the Journal of Applied Christian Leadership
  • contributing author to literary and historical anthologies
  • educator in history, geography, psychology, world religions, and creative writing
  • educational administrator at a multicultural organization
  • mental health technician

She also works in the mental health field as a coach supporting individuals through personal growth, resilience, and mindset development with the Abide Network.

A lifelong learner and frequent traveler, Megan divides her time between East Asia and the United States.

Together, with her husband, they operate Ford Mountain Publishing, supporting independent authors, artists, and storytellers, and they frequently collaborate on creative projects
